Once Early Life Support (ELS) is executed as per the agreement, the Service Engagement Initiation Lead must verify that all the activities are completed as planned and the Run team is well equipped to handle the services. Any outstanding transition activities should be transferred to the Run team.
The Service Engagement Initiation Lead must take all required sign-offs from the relevant stakeholders as per the agreement and transfer the outstanding transition activities to the Run team.
This task marks the end of the transition phase. The Engagement Manager (Transition) must make sure that all controls are transferred to the Delivery Manager who would be responsible for delivering the project in the Run phase. Typically, the Service Engagement Initiation Lead should share any key pointers to be kept in mind for the critical services to the Run team.
The Run team should resolve/ clarify all the issues/problems that will help them to stabilize the services. All the relevant stakeholders should be informed on the progress and it is highly recommended to update the lessons learnt database. |
